Step 1: Click on “Device”.

Step 2: Select the device category you want to add. For this example, we will use an Encoding Device.
Step 3: Encoder devices that are on your network will be detected.

Step 4: Click the device checkbox.
Step 5: Click on “Add to Device List”.

Step 6: Type device name and device password.

Step 7: Click on “Add”.

Step 8: Wait until the addition process is complete.
Step 9: Click on “Close”.

Step 10: Device was added.

Step 11: Ensure that the network status on the device is online.

Step 12: Log in to the HikCentral Professional Control Client and click on “Monitoring”.

Step 13: The HikCentral Professional Control Client will also display the added devices.
